nothin' new

I haven't posted in a while mostly because nothin new is going on...
I have been busy working on some projects for the upcoming CyberCrop and Sugar N Spice. I am doing a few challenges, classes, tutorials and games! It is going to be a great crop....there are some many things to do! THE CROP ITEMS WILL BE POSTED FRIDAY NIGHT, OCT. 31. The crop runs online Sat. and Sun., but participants have until Wed. to upload their creations. Everyone should check it out!
I have also been working on my LO's for the SNS October kit, and I am starting to think about the ATC cards that are due Friday for the swap at SNS.

I have 3 LO's that are due Nov. 10 for Scrapcity, and my November Technique Challenge at ScrapCity! On Novermber 1, there will be about 14 challenges posted at ScrapCity ranging from altered projects, to cards, to LO's. Now that I have been part of the ScrapCity community for a while now, I am hacving a great time getting to know the ladies over there. They are a riot!
Scrapcity also has a blog that I will do my first post on Nov. 3!

OK, so like I said, I've been BUSY!
Once I get a few of my projects done, I might give a sneaky peak....

Pink Crop at ScrapCity

Well I particpated in the Pink Crop at ScrapCity this weekend. There were 14 GREAT challenges, but unfortunately, I only got to complete 3. I was just so tired yesterday, I couldn't get it going. The one challenge that i didn't get to complete that I would really like to was creating a mini album with a mish-mash of items (tags, bags, chipboard, etc.). I def. want to try that out!

So there were the LO's that I did and the challenges:

Challenge #1-Think Pink

Since this was a crop in support of breast cancer, I did a LO of the walk that the Wells College class of '98 did in memory of Rose Hill at our reunion in May. The challenge was to use pink in a LO.

Challenge #4-RAW challenge.
This challenge was to use raw chipboard, kraft paper, or cardboard. I used a piece of chipboard for the background. This is one of my most fav LO's ever, I think!

Challenge #5-Page Maps
This was a Page Maps sketch challenge. Gotta love PM!

These last two LO's I used flock on for the first time. I really love the texture of it. I read somewhere online about using other things for texture like spices or coffee, and I am for sure going to try that. Wouldn't it be cool to have a LO that not only looked good, but smelled good, too?? :)

OMG what a WEEK!

WOW! I have had SOOOO much going on this week! But let me jump back:

Last weekend we went to Amy and Dan's wedding in VT. It was absolutely beautiful!! The foliage was amazing, and the wedding was so beautiful. Here are some pics of Keith and I:

OK, so when I got back from the wedding, I had just a *few* emails. Amoung those emails were 2 about DT positions! I have been a faithful member of Sugar N' Spice Scrapbooks for a few months now. One of their DT members just resigned, and the owner, Heather, asked if I would be a part of the team!!! I am SOOOO honored and surprised. The ladies there are just amazing, and we have such a fun time! I don't officially start until January, but I am so ready and I am going to start helping out with some things...

Then I got another email from Wendy at ScrapCity asking me if I'd like to join their DT!!!! Again, I was flabberghasted (I have no idea how to spell that word...). There is a team of 12, some old and some new (like me :) ). I just love all the different challenges that they have there. As a matter of fact, this weekend is the PINK CROP, so check it out! Since I don't officialy start here until Nov., I will be participating in the crop :)!

OK, then ONE more thing that I can't say too much about until Nov. 1. I will be featured on a scrapbooking site in Nov. Can't tell where, yet, but I'm super excited!

OK, so I am off to do some posts and some thinking about all the things I have to do! Hopefully I will get some scrap time in, too!
