I don't like the Black ones

These pics are from Easter last year, and of course I am just getting around the scrapping them now! I love these photos and this story. Basically, I left the house to drop my mom and dad off at the airport. When I got back, Chloe had eaten all the colored jelly beans, and then partially chewed teh black ones and spit them back out on the floor. She must not like licorice!!! I was mad becuase there were like black stains on the carpet. But when I saw her guilty face, I thought to myself, "Oh how can i be mad? I don't like the black ones either!"




On another note; here are my LONG overdue March ATC's for the swap at ScrapCity. Ladies, they are in the mail!!




Finally, we went to the arboretum today and it was just beautiful out! Here are some token photos! My fav is the water lily!!

Scrapbook Express Call!

Well today was the deadline for the Scrapbook Express Design Team call. The criteria were to created 5 projects for the call: two of which you had to use a page maps sketch for (a LO and a card) then one other layout and a card and an altered item.

And finally, my altered item! I have been meaning to do this for a while now, and I jsut completed this today! I have 4, 12x12 shadow boxes that I have hanging in the kitchen. I wanted to create seasonal decor to put in there, and I have had the Autumn ones up since October!! Well I FINALLY did my "spring" ones today. I was inspired by an ad I saw in a scrappin' mag for Doodlebug Designs. THe papers are layered to give it some dimension:

I have finally finished my creations with the March Kit from 2SCD!!! The papers are all from Mark's Paper Co. and the quality is AMAZING! I love the thickness of the papers and the finish on them. All the other goodies included in this kit were SOO fun to play with, too!!!

March Kit at 2SCD

The March Kit is now available at 2 Scrappy Chix Designs and it is GORGEOUS! The kit features papers from Mark's Paper Company, with a whole assortment of embellies!
Part of the kit kick-off is going to feature a LIVE CHAT with one of the owner's of Mark's Paper Co. on Sunday March 15 at the 2SCD site! Come and join us. We will also be talking to a few of the DT members for the company as well.

Another digi and a template

I participated in a "Telephone Tag" LO challenge at YMBD. This is where you are sent a LO and you have to lift it, then your LO is sent to someone else. You don't get to see anyone else's until the whole thing is over. It is really fun! I wasn't at home when it was my turn, but I did have my laptop, so I did a digi LO!

I decided that I would first make a sketch based on the LO that I had to lift. I alterted the LO of the design slightly, and added a few more patterned papers. I love using other people's templates for digi LO's, so I decided to make this a PSD file and share it with you all! Just click HERE to d/l.
