(NOTE TO SELF: This post made me realize that maybe I should switch it up a bit....for my next LO I am going to do the journaling FIRST. I wonder how this will affect my creative process? Hmmmm...)
Anyways, one way to get around this is to have OTHERS journal for you!
I brought a little baggie full of different journaling spots with me when I went home this summer. At the end of the summer, I had my mom, my and dad and brother each choose one that they liked and write a note to Charlotte about their time with her. When I got back home, I chose a photo that I thought represented their journaling the best, and then comleted the LO! How easy is THAT??!!!
These first two are based on a sketch by Ronda Pallazarri for Cocoa Daisy:
Don't you love Echo Park???
And this last one was from a sketch by Liz at "The Scrappiest".
I have got a whole bunch of goodies on their way to me that I can't wait to play with and share! And I also have some other SUPER exciting news that I will share next week!

Great idea =) A thing to remember and not to worry about, cool!
Love your LOs, so many details, absolutely love the stitching of the butterflies and those circles: they seem to be ready to fly away from the page, but you caught them right in the act =)
Good job!
Beautiful pages Audrey!
Love the idea to have others tell their story on the journaling! Love the layout elements too. See you this weekend!
What a FUN idea! AND what SUPER cute layouts! When she gets older she will TOTALLY appreciate these!
I just wrote a post on mynlog about how i hate journaling too! And i always save it for last. I am going to try both these tips. Thanks for sharing!
Also, I loved the layered circles with the stitching. Fab idea!
I wish I had thought of this idea two years ago!! (when my mom was still alive). What a super idea!! Going to do this asap!!!!
LOVE your layouts!
What a fantastic idea for journaling! The messages are so sweet, and really tell the story. I will definitely keep that one in mind!
