First up are two cards that I created using some of my scraps from the LYB Twig layouts that I made from Your Scrapbook Stash Store. I'm not much of a card maker. The designs of the cards were inspired by some challenges at some different sites.
On this card, I added an October Afternoon Bingo card for a Bingo Card challenge for the Jenni Bowlin message board online crop. You just had to use a Bingo card on your page. I think this Bingo card goes perfect with these papers.
This 2nd card was based on a sketch for the A Walk Down Memory Lane Birthday Bash Crop. You had to use 8 panels on the card. I added a ticket from Maya Road and the sentiment sticker from Making Memories. The butterfly is Jenni Bowlin.
Next I did a page based on an add at the Jenni Bowlin MB crop, which had lots of pink circles and a vintage look. Coincidently, the challenge at AWDML was to use 8 circles, so I combined these as well! I LOVE how this page turned out!
I actually used a vintage/70's photo action on my photo first before I printed it to give it an older look. The colors went perfect with a pink and grey combo.
I went through some of my stash and actually used up a few things! I had some older MME papers from the Lost & Found collections and So Sophie collections that had great pink patterns on them.
I added some blue stitching for contrast to all the pink.
I don't usually use pre-cut titles, but I thought this one fit perfect! The flower is from K&Co. and the heart trinket is new from MME.
And last but not least, this page is a combo of challenges, too. I love doing the monthly MME's sketch challenges, so this page is a loose interpretation of that sketch. I also used it for a challenge at Memorable Seasons to use soild background, a diecut, and RED. And finally for a challenge at JBS message board to use an oval on your page. OH, and for a challenge at AWDML to do a celebration page for something other than a birthday or holiday. PHEW! I don't usually combine challenges like this, but they all just seemed to fit!
I used papers, brads, chipboard accent, and ribbon from MME, oval from Jenni Bowlin, clear heart from Fancy Pants, and letters from LYB and American Crafts. Oh and the numbers are from a MME paper and the red flower is from AC, too.
I love the combo of red yellow and blue on a page. I used a program called Poladroid to make some polaroid-like photos celebrating the day. It is fun and free!!
Got a lot more planned for this week and a SPECIAL post on Wednesday!!!
