The April Sponsor at ScrapCity was Sakura of America who make the most awesome gel pens!!
You can visit their web site at: http://www.sakuraofamerica.com/
Sakura makes pens! They make the Souffle, the Glaze, and the Gelly Roll! That's just to name a few! Their pens are high quality and a lot of fun!
I challenged myself to use the pen in as many ways as possible on ONE LO. I tried to think of everything that I could alter with the pens! I only had two colors: a silver and a redish-pink. Here are some of the items I used the pen on:
Buttons: These buttons had a matte finish that absorbed the pen well. The one glossy button I heated with my heat gun after applying the pen, and it stayed well. These buttons are BoBunny.
Ribbon: I had this simple satin pink ribbon that i wrote on with the pens.
Flowers: These flowers I cut with my Cricut. The paper is Prima. I also tried to color the silver brad (it didn't stay very well).
Chipboard: I just took some naked chipboard and colored them in with the pens. This was by far my favorite technique becase you can really see the glitter and the pens absorbed so well.
Stamps: I colored in these stamps wings with the silver pen and I love how they came out!
And my finished LO:
I definetly loved using these pens....yet another scrappy product I am going to have to buy more of!!!
