Let me share my projects with you!

I created two cards using the Mixed Media Inks, and I wanted to try some techniques that I like to use on my scrapbook pages when using mixed media.

For my first card, I used the Moroccan Mosaic Stamp Set to make some flowers using the Ruby Red, Coral Berry, and Frosty Pink inks.

For the leaves, I used some watercolor paper, stamped the inks on my mat, and used a watercolor brush to create a background with different shades of green.  Then I used the leaves from the Garden Picks 3D Die Set and layered the bits together.

For my 2nd card, I repeated the watercolor technique to create a background on watercolor paper, using my brush to create splatters as well.

I used my blending tool to create an ombre effect with the four shades of pink, and then cut out the word "Hello" from the Mega Hello Die.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Wow! Both projects are lovely, but I most appreciate the soft background you were able to achieve w/ the wash effect, contrasted with the crisp yet blended colors on the sentiment die. Beautiful options with these inks!

Thanks for showing how saturated the inks can be - love that background! The Hello die holds the color so well, so opaque-love it!

I just LOVE the Hello card. The green background is so pretty. I am not very good at making a big watercolor background. Maybe I need a HUGE brush...? You did a fine job.

Audrey, I loved both of your cards. They were both so different too. One is organized and crisp the other is free-flowing and muted. That just shows how versatile these inks are.
