Some projects with LYB "Twig"

Erica from Your Scrapbook Stash sent me some Little Yellow Bicycle "Twig" to work with this month, and let me just say that I LOVED working with these papers and embellies!

First I did this two pager about our favorite park in our community.  We go 2-3 times a week at least!  I love the contrast of the blue and green papers against Charlotte's pink shirt.

I did a straight stitch with my machine around the outside of the patterned paper, and then a zig zag around the edge of the cardstock. The big chipboard letters are some old Cosmo Cricket ones which I painted.

I made this flower with some circle punches and just misted and pleated them and glued them together!

I added a bit of glitz to my page with some stickles.  I LOVE these little birds on the patterned paper (which I fussy cut out, of course!)

I am also using these page for a crop at A Walk Down Memory Lane, and for the GREEN challenge at The Paper Variety, whom YSS just so happens to be sponsoring this month!  You MUST go check out these sites, and see all the fun challenges and contests going on!!!!

The next page I just love, too! These photos were from our trip to Lost Maple Park near San Anotnio last fall.  I can't believe how much Charlotte has grown since then!

I did a lot of fussy cutting on this page for the twigs and the leaves and the bird!  Again, these papers are just perfect for fall pages!

I also used a Martha Stewart punch that I got on sale after Christmas with the "twig" or pine needle pattern on it.  It is an edge punch, but I cut off bits of strip and added them here and there on my page.

I used a lot of pop dots of different heights to layer my leaves and my photos, and then I stuck some leave pins in the foam dots behind the leaves!

I have one more project I am almost finished with using these papers, and I can't wait to show you!  TFL!
